Parc national des Blue Mountains, Blue haze

The Blue Mountains National Park, covering 250,000 hectares and rising more than 1,000 metres above sea level, about 100km west of Sydney and be listed on the World Heritage register. The mountains are so named because of the blue haze caused by the mist from the eucalypt trees that cover the rugged slopes and valleys.
