Place des Héros, Millennium Monument

In 1896, when the country of Hungary ended 1000 years of existence, the memorial, which was called 'Millennium Monument', was designed to symbolize this historical moment. The monument consists of two columns, one right and one left, accompanied by statues and among them stands a Corinthian column of up to 36 meters high and on top of it stands the Angel Gabriel. The project is located in Heroes Square and all the objects symbolize something. Everything on it are including pictures and symbols of the country's history. Budapest, Hungary.
