Temple Binh thuy, Entrance

Binh Thuy Temple or Long Tuyen ancient shrine (Đình Bình Thủy, Long Tuyền cổ miếu) is located at Binh Thuy district, Can tho city. Legend that the Year of Dragon 1844 went with a severe flood in Long Tuyen village thus causing huge devastation. Fortunately, when the flood passed, inhabitants had led more and more prosperous lives. The easy circumstance allowed them to contribute materials to build up a temple nearby Binh Thuy arroyo with the aim of praying for advantageous production. It was built in 1909 and is the national historic relic.
