Centre-ville, St Michael church

St Michael's Church, Stanwix - The Church at Stanwix, just north of the River Eden, dedicated to St. Michael, is cruciform in shape, and in the Early English style of architecture, designed by J Hodgson. It was erected in 1841, and consists of nave, aisles, transepts, and fine tower, surmounted by pinnacles.
