Monkhill, Converted windmill

Converted windmill, Monkhill, sits near the narrowest point of the river Eden in northwest Cumbria. The site was a crossing point for Roman troops, Scottish border raiders, and cattle drovers. Monkhill, today, is a quiet little hamlet.
