Trois Pagodes, Qianxun Pagoda

Qianxun Pagoda, Three Pagodas, Dali - The central Qianxun Pagoda (pinyin Qian Xun Ta) is the main pagoda of the Three Pagodas in Dali, reportedly built during 824-840 AD by king Quan Fengyou (劝丰佑) of the Nanzhao state. It is square in shape and 69 meters (known as one of the tallest pagodas in China’s history) and 16 levels with the marvelous whitewashed wall cover makes it more visible just a few yards away.
