Ancient village de Duong Lam, Ong Tan Temple

Ong Tan Temple (Đền Thờ Ông Tản) at Duong Lam ancient village (Làng cổ Đường Lâm), Ha Noi. This is one of the villages that still preserves old houses and typical architecture of northern Vietnam, including Mia pagoda. The bricks used to build houses at this village are made of laterite (đá ong). There are about 300 houses built 3-4 centuries ago with lateritic bricks, narrow alleys, lateritic walls and roofing color. The village is also famous, because the two kings of Vietnam (Ngô Quyền and Phùng Hưng) were born there.
