Temple de la littérature, Bai Duong

Bai Duong, Van Mieu Literature, Ha Noi - Bai Duong (Bái Đường, meaning House of Ceremonies) at the Literature Temple or Van Mieu Temple (Văn Miếu-Quốc Tử Giám), Ha Noi, Viet Nam. It's one of famous historical and cultural sites in Ha Noi. Originally built in 1070 in the Ly dynasty, Van Mieu was representative of Confucian ways of thought and behavior. Six years later, Quoc Tu Giam, the first university of Viet Nam, was established on the grounds of Van Mieu.
