Temple Le Van Duyet, Main temple

The main temple 'Thuong cong linh mieu' at Le Van Duyet temple, HCMC, is on the area 26 x 15m. An annual festival takes place on the anniversary of the death of Le Van Duyet. This festival honors the man and his wife on the 1st day of the 8th lunar month. Devotees burn incense and paper votive objects and also consult the oracle for answers to questions concerning their life, family, marriage or work, and wish for property, good luck and promotions. The temple is very tumultuous and jubilant at the beginning of spring. There are a lot of devotees worshiping, obscured by incense-smoke in the middle and central sections.
