Vue, Kopanice water reservoir

Slovakia, Hodrusa-Hamre, part Kopanice - Domky 630 m above sea level, the reservoir was built between 1740-1743 by Moder gallery mining company and its needs. Water energy was used for Moder gold or mills in Richnava valley. The dam is 138 m long, 5 m wide and 10 m height. Maximal volume of water is 80 000 cubic metres. The dam was reconstructed on 1997-1998 and now is used for fishing, swimming and other recreation activities.
