Museum textile Negara was built in 1905 by the design of the architect A.B Hubback. It was formerly known as the Federal Malay States Railway Station & S'gor Works Department. This building is distinguishable by its design alternating red bricks and white plaster bands and an Islamic style façade with raised onion-shaped domes derived from Moghul architecture. Smaller white domes top the octagonal towers on each corner.
