Dong Tam snake farm (Trại rắn Đồng Tâm, trung tâm Nuôi trồng Nghiên cứu chế biến dược liệu quân khu 9) is located at Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province (about 10km from My Tho in the direction of Vinh Long). They breeds snakes for eating, for their skins and for producing antivenin. The farm covers 12 hectares, including other wild animals like yellow tortoises, tigers, crocodiles, bears, owls, etc.
