Gdansk, World War II Monument

World War II Monument in Gdansk commemorating the beginning the World War II is located across the Vistula River from the cruise ship port of Gdansk. This monument marks the site where 182 Polish soldiers held out for 7 days against the German army in September 1939, defending a nearby ammunition depot. Пам'ятник вохнам Другої Світової Війни, які боролися з фашистами. Саме тут почалась ДСВ(1941-1945). Воїни захищались у доті протягом 7 днів. Але харчів і боєприпасів було всього на 3 дні.
