Large Square, Brukenthal Palace

The Large Square (Romanian: Piaţa Mare) in Sibiu - As its name suggests, is the largest square of the city, and has been the center of the town since the 16th century. Brukenthal Palace (ro. Muzeul Naţional Brukenthal), one of the most important Baroque monuments in Romania, lies on the north-western corner of the square.
