First it was a monastery of augustianie, later rebuilt as a residence. It was destroyed during Husite wars in XVth age and secondly during the 30-year war in XVIIth age. Since 1810 year stopped being a monastery. In XIXth age near the castle were found two Romanesque sculptures of lions from XIIth century. They are a precious landmarks of the surroundings of mountain Slęża and evidence of their reach history. Gorka Castle, Sobótka, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.
