Centre-ville, Justice and Police Museum

The Justice and Police Museum is located at Phillip and Albert streets, Circular Quay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It has been a Water Police Court (1856), Water Police Station (1858) and plain old Police Court (1886). The museum has been restored to its 1890's character emphasising its themes of crime and punishment and law and order. It features a magistrates court, a recreated police charge room and remand cells. There is also a gallery of mug shots of Sydney's early criminals and a variety of weapons used during those early years.
