Roman Catholic church of St John the Baptist - The Catholic Parish Church of St John stands on top of Castle Hill. The church was the first in Szentendre to be built in stone and that was done during the Middle Ages. It was rebuilt in the 18th century as it went to ruin during the Ottoman occupation.
