Éphèse, Fountain of Trajan

The fountain on the right side of Curetes Street was built in the 2nd century AD and dedicated to Emperor Trajan. A full-sized statue of the Emperor stood in the middle of the fountain. Two statues of Dionysos found during the excavations are on display in the Museum of Ephesus. Fountain of Trajan, Ephesus, Turkey.
