Phu Quoc (île), Da Ban stream

Da Ban stream (Suối Đá Bàn) is situated about 6 kms due east of Duong Dong, Phu Quoc island, Vietnam. It gets its name from the many table-like rock formations that make up the stream ('da' means 'rock' and 'ban' means 'table'). It is believed that many fairies come to this stream to play checkers on the many 'tables'. There are many rock pools along its length with beautiful wild ginseng and orchids growing along its banks.
