Alpes suisses Jungfrau-Aletsch, Jungfraubahn

The Jungfrau Railway (Jungfraubahn), pioneer of all mountain railways, began operating a year-round service from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch in 1912. The mountain terminus is the Jungfraujoch, altitude 3454 metres, where Europe's highest-altitude railway station is housed in two underground station halls.
